Has the 'New World Order' Been Defeated?

The Dawn of a Humanistic Utopia
There's a growing number of people today who are concerned at what they see happening in the world. The corruption, the social unrest, elitist groups who are pulling strings to fulfil their own agendas. This may all be well and true, and it's important for us to stand up for truth in this generation. But in order to deal with these impending threats, a number of people have come to the conclusion that a grassroots humanist revolution, to reset this world, and start again afresh, is the only solution to our problems. On the surface it doesn’t sound bad, to rebuild a new age utopia and get rid of social manipulators.
But would this actually work?

The Flood of Noah According to the Bible, there's already been a time in history that the wickedness in this world was so great that God flooded the earth, and Noah and his family were the only people who remained. And yet, though the flood achieved its intended purpose, when the Earth was repopulated the evil and sin in people's hearts remained. It wasn't long until a man named Nimrod rose up and built the City of Babel. Nimrod was, in essence, the first archetype of the corrupt “One World System” and its leader, and the tower of Babel, in the midst of the city, was built in order to self-elevate humanity to the heights of the gods. Sound familiar? This event was one of the greatest historical foreshadowing's of what the New Age is trying to achieve. Yet it happened not long after the world was cleansed and started a-new. Once more God's judgment was needed, through Babel's scattering.
So there’s got to be more to this story than simply trying to start the world again with people still in their current condition. I, for one, can admit the innate rebellion and evil in my heart, and the selfishness that dwells there. I know it wouldn't be long before I would taint any form of “new age” with my propensity toward wrongdoing. So this poses the question, How long would it actually be if we really did restart this world again without an elitist influence and with humanity as it is?
How long before one of us starts to get jealous, feels hatred, or becomes envious of others?
How long before someone steals something? Or acts in deviance? Becomes prideful?
Would the end result really be a utopia? Or would it, once again, descend into a dystopia?
If we’re honest, the humanist “new age” worldview doesn’t hold up to this level of scrutiny. If the problem of evil still exists, then any idea of creating a truly better and changed world, remains merely a fantasy. It won’t work.
Mankind's Innate Problem
The problem we’ve identified is in the very heart of man. In every single one of us, there is sin. The Bible describes it perfectly.
Romans 3:23:
”For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God”
So then, what is the solution? Clearly the root issue of our corruption needs to be dealt with, truly, thoroughly, and sufficiently, for us to have any hope of living in a place of perfection. Living in purity, love, and holiness, and the peace that we all yearn for is impossible without the intervention of a God who is perfect and good, stepping in to rescue us.
But who has the power, the authority, the righteousness, and mercy to achieve this for those who, are themselves incapable, yet so desire it?
There is only one name in history.
Jesus Christ.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. - Ezekiel 36 25-27
In order to deal with the root of our problem, Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for our sins, so that we could be forgiven, washed clean, and restored. This is our only solution. We are all spiritually dead in our sins, which separates us from God. But He promises to transform us from the inside, and grant us the gift of Eternal Life.
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. - John 3: 3b-5
We need to be born again. And given a new heart.
We cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, unless we are born again.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - John 3:16-18
This is far beyond any flawed humanist worldview. This is the power of Almighty God who created you, who promises to set you free today, from certain death and hell.
..we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. - 2 Corinthians 5:20b-21
The only way for us to be reconciled back to God is through the free gift of His righteousness, which Christ invites us to receive today by faith in His finished work.

The Cross: A Restored Relationship with the God of Heaven
The only way to have a restored relationship with our Creator, is in Christ.
The only way to remedy the problem of sin, is in Christ.
The only way to flee the Justice of eternal Hell that we deserve, is in Christ.
Jesus Christ is our mediator. He is Emmanuel, God with us.
And shed His blood as a ransom for our sins.
Only Christ can raise the spiritually dead to new life and make our blind eyes see. If you are weary and burdened with the wrongs and the sins that you have committed, Jesus says to you today, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest..” - Matthew 11:28
The good news for the sinner is there's no-one too bad to be forgiven by God. Even the worst offender in the world can be saved, the moment they place their trust in Jesus Christ and lay down their burden at His feet. The bad news for the proud is there's one good enough to be accepted by God. Our own frail works can never save us. Jesus is totally sufficient to pay the penalty for all our rebellion. The call is urgent, none of us know if we have tomorrow. None of us know when we will take our last breath. Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. Through Him those heavy consequences of sin, including certain death and hell, no longer hold their sting over us. So long as we flee to Him.
So I plead with you today, forget all these empty “new age” world views, turn in faith and repentance to the only true Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
