No, we are NOT in 'Satans Little Season'.

Years ago there was a popular movement online which attempted to propagate the divinely inspired words of Biblical Scripture had been supernaturally altered by the Large Hadron Collider based in CERN, Switzerland.

This theory, which was an offshoot of the mandela effect conspiracy, gained some momentum in niche circles, sadly convincing some that not only our recollection of old children's books titles or food brands, but the actual words written in the King James Bible, were no longer reliable.

Back then I put this down to a psychological phenomena that confused peoples minds largely due to conflation and false memories, however over time it looked more like a form of gaslighting in order to achieve a certain outcome.

It seemed more like an attack on Biblical truth.

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. - 2 Timothy 4:4

Now Satan's Little Season channels want you to believe the bizarre idea that old cathedrals and architecture are left over from the “millennial reign of Christ” that already “literally” happened on Earth.

And that we aren't currently in the run up to the Great Tribulation, but rather in the time period following the return of Christ and thousand year Kingdom.

I will share the content I've seen and offer my own perspective on this recent trend.

New Age Infiltration

Some of the SLS ideas appear to be a mishmash of various theories, including fringe Gnostic Tartaria conspiracies, time-line deceptions, cabbage patch kids, mud floods, world fairs and orphan trains, which found their origin in viral TikTok videos.

Other channels pushing this theory even combine it with new age concepts like 'Christ Consciousness'.

'forgotten period of Christ Consciousness'

On one Youtube channel that regularly teaches SLS, who also state they are a Christian channel, I asked the content creator their thoughts about people having a 'second chance' at salvation after death, which I had previously seen suggested in a video related to the SLS theory.

But when I cited that these concepts were patently against the Bible, the response was they are merely "testing different ideas" as it's still a "working theory".

What's more, I've seen several examples of larger proponents of SLS on the internet who unapologetically also teach new age doctrines combined with this. If you scan through videos on the above pictured Facebook page, you will also see many new age themed videos, like "Earth Heart Drum Ceremony", "The Divine Feminine Is Rising" etc.

So, the question is, why do blatant new age channels have an interest in Satans Little Season in the Book of Revelation?

In fact, the Youtube channel I mentioned, also uses sacred geometry on the channel banner in the form of "Platonic Solids" and pushes these same concepts.

Ancient Architecture

Groups that advocate for these teachings often point to supposed evidences like old architecture which "prove" these ideas are correct, primarily based on how grand the stone masonry was fashioned in a time period where only chisels, hammers and horses were available as tools to build with.

This, they ascertain, is proof that Jesus Christ has already returned, and the grandeur of these buildings show that the millennial age has passed. Granted, the buildings are very ornate, but it never seems to be considered that some of these buildings took centuries to meticulously construct with equipment that was available, and the skill and craftsmanship of the architects doesn't come into the equation. Notre Dame, for example, took around 182 years to build.

Regardless of the limited technology they had, this is perfectly plausible and doesn't prove anything that is being suggested - especially not in regards to the extravagant claims being made. Furthermore, it's claimed by these groups that “holy buildings” like Cathedrals, were left as empty shells and re-occupied following the return of Jesus kingdom on Earth. To me, that is a huge leap to make and makes no rational sense.

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. - 2 Thessalonians 2:2

Ancient Cathedral comparison with Baal / Tanit relief

The belief that Cathedrals are left over from the millennial reign of Christ is patently false, as any serious Bible believer would affirm.

Not only because it doesn't make sense with what the Bible says (we will touch on this shortly).. You only have to ask yourself a simple question like this.. why would buildings which are often designed with occult references to Tanit / Baal reliefs, mysticism, Rosicrucianism and flowers of life have any place in the perfect reign of Jesus Christ Kingdom.

The stonemasonry is often embedded with esoteric allusions, mystical symbols and subtle nods to false deities.

Why would buildings, often designed by secretive guilds (spoken of negatively in Revelation 2:18-29), have anything to do with Jesus’ righteous reign?

Timeline Change

Then, you have the idea of a timeline change. It may surprise some readers that this concept is nothing new.

This exact same proposition was made in the 17th Century, by the Jesuit Scholar Jean Hardouin, among others. It was known as The New Chronology.

I will provide an insightful excerpt about this below, from an article compiled by 'The Jesuitocracy Exposed'.

The New Chronology & Satan’s Little Season Theories | Inventions of the Jesuits

The main assertion of the adherents to the New Chronology Hypothesis is that through calendrical error and politico-religious meddling, several centuries of forged/manufactured history have been inserted retroactively into the western calendar, artificially extending modern history into a 2,000 year period. In essence, the proponents of the theory believe that the Anno Domini dating system has been fabricated and that the period of the early Middle Ages is a concoction.

This theory has been popularized by the works in Anatoly Fomenko in recent times. However, the claims of the New Chronology Theory have an origin in the late 17th century. The first proponent of such a theory is the Jesuit Scholar Jean Hardouin. Jean Hardouin (1646-1729) was a French Jesuit Priest and classical scholar. He was a professor of letters and rhetoric and later became a professor of positive theology for 15 years at the Jesuit college of Louis le Grand in Paris. He also became librarian at the same Jesuit college. Hardouin spent all of his adult life at the college and authored several works espousing the theory. For the which is why Hardouin is commonly referred to as the intellectual progenitor the New Chronology Hypothesis.

In Christian circles the New Chronology Hypothesis is commonly paired with a nuanced form of Preterism to create the Satan’s Little Season Theory. A theory that states that the Millennial reign of Christ already occurred but it was erased from history when Satan was loosed for a little season (Revelation 20:3). Preterism as an eschatological system was first expounded and popularized by Jesuit Priest Luis de Alcasar in his 1614 work Vestigatio arcani sensus in Apocalypsi, often being regarded as the founding text of modern Preterism. It is quite the feat when two Jesuit Psyops collide to form a conspiracy subculture that permeates in both New Age and Christian camps.

Lost Civilisations

The myths and legends of the Lost City of Atlantis

“I just read a short article about Atlantis and how Blavatsky believed they would reincarnate in our days. … they believed Atlantis had advanced technology, similar again to Q and the satan little season believers or Tartaria folks” - Laura Srocki

Another point to note are the similarities between internet trends like this and the long-held occultic beliefs of "lost cities" and "lost civilisations". It's no secret that mystics like Alice Bailey and Helena Blavatsky also adhered to these myths and fables.

Take renowned new age guru, Benjamin Créme, for example. Créme associates the “Golden Age” with "Atlantis" in his book The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, and also believed a Matreiya figure was soon to usher in an era of world peace.

In this excerpt you will see a combination of these points, which include the idea of an advanced ancient civilisation, a coming Golden Age, and a merge of spiritual science.

It also sounds like he was speaking of a coming Technocracy as well.

Do you see the deception the SLS cult may tie into?

Twisting Scripture

Finally, if all this is not yet enough, and we could go on about various of the other spurious claims being made about Tartaria and cabbage patch kids, one of the most disturbing aspects of this phenomenon I mentioned earlier, is the false doctrine being espoused. In order to attempt to claim the Bible teaches these ideas, adherents have sadly twisted scripture in order to try to promote this as a "Christian" belief system. We are warned in the New Testament that some would come into the fold and make outlandish claims like these. In 2 Thess 2:2, Paul encourages believers not to be shaken in mind by such false teachings. As mentioned earlier, this is not even the worst heresy I've come across on the back of this.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws.. - Daniel 7:25a

If you'd like to read a Biblically sound article on what Satan's Little Season actually is, its true context, and why this new teaching doesn't make any sense Biblically, let alone historically, then please click here.

Conclusion

In reality, it’s clear this is false doctrine. Its true origins are found in mysticism, fringe videos on TikTok and psychological phenomena.

These sources, and not scripture, appear to be largely responsible.

Some members of this niche cult movement have started to attack anyone who speaks up against it and the heresies it espouses.

But, as you've seen here, it’s easy to debunk. Ultimately our battle is not against flesh and blood. We are in a spiritual war. May all those who are ensnared by this find freedom in Christ and the Gospel.

I hope this article provides a helpful first step in that direction.

2 Corinthians 10:5

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
