Theosophists Flip the Script

This week on the RISE Radio Podcast, we discussed the tendency of Theosophy to "turn light for darkness, and darkness for light" and flip the script. It's important to be aware of the narratives being propagated in these times and where they come from.

David Icke is a theosophist. This is the false mystical religion of Alice Bailey, who was the primary influencer of the new age religion.

New age is akin to a modern form of Gnosticism, which teaches that salvation is found through secret knowledge, self elevation and mystical enlightenment. It also teaches a skewed doctrine that the God of the Old Testament is a dictator, a lower level creator, who kept Adam and Eve imprisoned in a matrix. This figure, in their eyes, is also known as the “demiurge”.

So when you see folks like David Icke saying we need to be set free from the “matrix”, they are simply talking about overthrowing the true God of the Bible and trying to ascend above Him, via a false Luciferian enlightenment.

Therefore, and here's the switch, to followers of Theosophy, anyone who is a true Bible believing Christian is part of the darkness, the dragon, rather than light. They believe those who are associated with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel, are a barrier to humanities progression and illumination, which holds the world back from 'enlightenment'. This is made clear in the writings of various occultists throughout the years, including Aleister Crowley. Though Aleister Crowley himself was not a member of the Theosophical Society he was influenced by its intellectual climate and its focus on esoteric traditions. Crowley stated:

“There is a good deal of the Nietzschean standpoint in this verse. It is the evolutionary and natural view. Of what use is it to perpetuate the misery of tuberculosis, and such diseases, as we now do? Nature's way is to weed out the weak. This is the most merciful way, too. At present all the strong are being damaged, and their progress hindered by the dead weight of the weak limbs and the missing limbs, the diseased limbs and the atrophied limbs. The basic premise is that the world is evolving into a new age, or aeon. And in order for humanity to progress into the (false) light, the world must 'ascend' and remove any barrier or obstacle which stands in the way. Since this movement is patently Anti-Christ, that barrier is, of course, anything associated with the God of the Bible, or the "old way".

These doctrines are devilish, and driven by a Satanic counterfeit. So it stands to reason that the true God is their primary target. Sometimes this is dressed up in various different terms and language, but at the heart of it, it remains the same. Serpent seeds, lizard people, undesirables. The enemy of Theosophists are the enemies of the Kingdom of darkness. Because that is what it's driven by. Icke himself once admitted in an interview, not only that he saw himself as a reincarnation of Christ, but also that he received his 'enlightenment' after taking the drug ayahuasca in a Brazilian rainforest retreat during the year 2003, and was dictated details about the end of the world by an audible female voice and his personal task to save it. This voice also purportedly taught Icke about the "illusory nature of reality".

The Bible says: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils - 1 Timothy 4:1

I don't think there's any question that we can see this happening today. Recently, Tucker Carlson has also been repeating similar philosophies to Icke. This was the topic of our latest podcast episode, when we were joined by Cameron from Edinburgh, who was once involved in the online truth movement and followed the work of various new age figureheads. We pray for David Icke and anyone else who has been so tragically deceived by these doctrines of demons and the effects of false teachings. But, the familiar thread remains - there is a war against the God of the Bible and His purpose and plans. Not that this counterfeit rival plan will prevail, just read the end of the Bible, but the delusion itself is rife. Ultimately, God is Sovereign and nothing will thwart His greater purposes, which will culminate in the return of Jesus Christ, who will defeat the works of the Antichrist.
